is full of songs, games, and activities! Emphasizes the six steps of properly
washing and why it is so important. Kids enjoy the games and the "Webisode."
By "kids" we mean ages 6 to 16. Teen girls giggle at the characters
and then look around to see if anyone noticed.This makes a good health filler
in computer lab. In this time of flu epidemics and MRSA, this site is a powerful
tool against disease.

Game On! The Ultimate Wellness Challenge How to build an around the year program to educate kids in nutrition, health and physical education before, during, and after school. Includes ideas, activities, and how to set up challenges for kids. This is from Action for Healthy Kids of Skokie, Illinois, USA. Their mission statement and program layout explains it all in detail. Each has a Revise Bite (online textbook), a good Activity to keep kids engaged, followed by a Quiz. We linked to the Revise Bites, and links to the activities and quizzes are on each page at the bottom. See if kids can keep Ben healthy in a Neo-Pet type activity! Quick clicking is called for!

Healthfinder US government site. Lists of links to other government health-related education sites. We've used the Cool and Uncool Stuff section to help teach alcohol and drug abuse facts. Other sections may be OK, too.

KidsHealth Kids learn about health and their bodies. Good, interactive site. Really good section on body changes during adolescence, too.
KidsHealth in the Classroom is a new part of the popular KidsHealth site. "Get on board with KidsHealth's new online resource for educators! Teeth and Eating Very good BBC KS2 Bitesize section that teaches kids all about teeth! There's a four page online picture textbook, a good Activity to keep kids engaged, followed by a 10 question Quiz. We recommend you go through the site by clicking on the red "Next >" in the bottom right hand corner. After reading the facts on teeth, click on the red "Activity" in the bottom left hand area, and then click on the "Quiz" next to it.
